This report examines the results of approximately 20,000 patients who underwent coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery and/or heart valve surgery between July 1, 2011 and December 31, 2012. Risk-adjusted in-hospital mortality and 30-day readmission outcomes are reported for hospitals and surgeons. Average hospital charges and 2011 average Medicare payments are reported for hospitals. |
